Anglian Water’s A-WINEP (Advanced Water Industry National Environment Programme) will help to remove barriers to partnership working in order to deliver Nature-based Solutions (NbS) at a scale not seen before in our region.
The Urban Regeneration programme focusses on the creation of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) across Great Yarmouth and the surrounding Borough as we take a nature first approach to reducing storm sewer overflows and surface water flooding.
This exciting and unique role will help match the vision of the A-WINEP programme with the regeneration ambition in the Borough. You will work closely with core partners to align priorities within an agreed governance framework. You’ll also be keeping wider stakeholders up to date and manage complex and senior relationships as the programme moves through optioneering to design and delivery.
Key stakeholders will include, but not be limited to, Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Norfolk County Council (including Highways Authority and Lead Local Flood Authority), and local businesses and communities.
This role will have a significant presence in the community and will be co-located with Great Yarmouth Borough Council.

Continuously monitor stakeholder engagement and relationships, evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies and adjust as needed.
Act as a first point of contact for stakeholder queries and represent the A-WINEP programme at external forums and engagement opportunities.
As a valued employee you’ll be entitled to:
A competitive pension scheme where we double-match your contributions up to 6%
Private healthcare for your peace of mind
An annual bonus scheme
