💧 For a great career, just add water.

The water industry is transforming — faster, bolder, smarter.
And you could be one of the minds leading that change.

Shape the Future Through Learning, Curiosity, and Innovation

Imagine being part of a team where ideas don’t just get talked about — they get tested, trialled, and turned into real‑world improvements for millions of people.

As part of our pioneering Flow team, you’ll step into a space where technology meets creativity, where engineering meets imagination, and where innovation becomes impact.

This is your chance to re‑imagine what’s possible for Water Recycling — and help us build the sustainable systems of tomorrow.

The Role

We're looking for a Flow Technology Development Manager who thrives on possibility.
Someone who sees a challenge and thinks, “Let’s find a better way.”

In this role, you’ll lead a talented team to uncover, develop, and implement cutting‑edge solutions across our Water Recycling assets that make a meaningful impact on our flow compliance and environmental purpose.

You’ll scout out new technology, rethink traditional processes, and help us build a future that’s more efficient, more resilient, and better for our customers and the environment.

You'll be the connection point between strategy and innovation — translating big ambitions into practical, evidence‑based change.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sparking new ideas and driving innovation projects from spark… to strategy… to solution
• Initiating and managing programmes that transform the way our Water Recycling systems operate
• Collaborating with operational teams to uncover opportunities and tackle challenges head‑on
• Staying plugged into the latest technologies across (and far beyond) the water industry
• Making sure innovation aligns with our long‑term goals and delivers real value
• Elevating business case development and championing best practice across the team
• Building connections, inspiring curiosity, and leading by example

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and imaginative thinking. You’ll ideally have:

• A strong record of initiating solutions to overcome complex technical problems
• Experience in systems‑based thinking, ideally within the water industry

• Lead, support and develop your team, ensuring they are empowered, motivated and equipped to deliver high‑quality innovation outcomes
• A proven ability to build productive, credible relationships with a vast array of stakeholders
• Solid understanding of Water Recycling assets and processes
• Relevant hands‑on experience within Water Recycling
• Someone curious, motivated, and excited by the future of water
• A communicator who can bring ideas to life and inspire others to get involved
• A confident user of IT systems and applications — with outstanding IT capability
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and deliver at pace
• A logical thinker who knows when to analyse and when to act
• Full UK Driving Licence

Why Join Us?

Because this isn’t just a job.
It’s a chance to reshape how an entire industry works — sustainably, inclusively, and innovatively.

Our customers come from all walks of life, and we want our teams to reflect that. We’re committed to building a workplace where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.

We proudly support:
• The Social Mobility Pledge
• Business in the Community’s Race at Work Charter
• Armed Forces Covenant (Gold)
• Disability Confident Employer
• The Women’s Utility Network

You’ll be part of a community that believes in doing the right thing — for people, for places, and for our planet.
