AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.
What do we offer? : Internship (curricular practicum) program + Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).
Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.
About practical training:
- 6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026
- Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
- Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:
- Conduct a comprehensive study on the current situation of non-rechargeable lithium batteries installed in various systems across the M&L fleets.
- Investigate the potential risks associated with lithium batteries and their impact on aircraft airworthiness.
- Identify and document the presence of lithium batteries in installed equipment across the fleet.
- Evaluate potential risks considering various factors such as battery type, location, and environmental conditions.
- Prepare detailed Risk Assessments based on findings to support airworthiness certification processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of airborne equipment and airworthiness standards.
- Gain practical experience in technical research, data analysis, and report writing.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Studying Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field
- English: min. level B2 (C1 desirable)
- Spanish: min. level B1
- General knowledge in aircraft systems and airworthiness regulations.
- Skills valued: Familiarity with aircraft maintenance and inspection procedures, basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring diagrams, knowledge of aircraft safety management systems (SMS), ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others, strong work ethic and initiative and adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in an international environment.
