Definition VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a Quality Management System in his area of influence, through:
  • Survey and facilitate PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and Risk & Opps (R&O) identification, support implementation of standards such as Statistical Process Capability (SPC) & Design of Experiment (DoE)
  • Led End-to-End Quality escapes resolution.
  • Strengthened within Quality plans Quality standards adherence
  • Championed Continuous Improvement
  • Perform, support and train other persons to PPS (Practical Problem Solving)


Desired skills and qualifications

  • University degree in the area of Quality, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent field of study.
  • First practical experience in the field of Quality and/or Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering is desirable.

Skills:

  • Practical Problem Solving
  • Quality Preventive Standards (PFMEA, Statistical Process Control etc.) a plus, but not mandatory
  • Project Management ; Experience in Artificial Intelligence would be also a plus
  • Statistical Process Capability (SPC) & Design of Experiment (DoE) would be a plus
  • Autonomous, eager to learn, social competence (team spirit, supporting each other & working in a team is one of the fundamentals in our team) , self-motivated, analytical
  • English fluent, German/French/Spanish is a plus
