NAVBLUE, an Airbus Company, is currently seeking a VIE Finance Modelling to join our growing team.

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

  • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old
  • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any
  • The contract duration of VIE is between 6 to 24 months.

Job Summary:

NAVBLUE is a leading services company, wholly owned by Airbus, dedicated to Flight Operations solutions and services for airlines and aircraft operators, on the ground and onboard. NAVBLUE combines aircraft manufacturer expertise, flight operations know-how and agile development to enhance operational efficiency, optimize resources and increase productivity, for a safer and more sustainable aviation.

NAVBLUE is looking for a VIE in its Finance Department.

As a VIE “Finance Modelling” at NAVBLUE, you will work directly with the Financial Performance team and the Finance Operations team to develop and adapt financial models for forecasting and decision making. On top you will be in charge of building tools for monitoring the company performance.

To be successful in this role, you must have a solid finance background, be a team player with strong prioritization, analytical and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Develop financial models and tools for internal valuation, costing, forecast and deal assessment (Business modelling, margin tracking tool, cash forecasting tool)
  • Ensure adherence with Airbus processes, tools and methodology


Education :

  • Successful completion of an Academic degree in Finance


Required Skills / Experience :

  • Expertise in financial modelling and business cases
  • Understanding of finance and performance management
  • Notions of project management
  • Knowledge in Office tools. Experience in Google suite environment and Qlik Sense are a plus.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Teamplayer combined with ability to work with autonomy
  • Interests in new technologies like IA
  • Effective interpersonal skills, able to adapt your communication to all levels of the organization in a multicultural environment
  • First experience through several internships

Description du poste :

NAVBLUE est une société de services détenue à 100% par Airbus, dédiée aux solutions de gestion des opérations de vol et du trafic aérien. Elle fournit des produits et services au sol et à bord de tout aéronef.

NAVBLUE ouvre un poste de VIE “Finance Modelling” au sein de son département Finance.

Ce poste nécessite de travailler en étroite collaboration avec le département Controlling & Performance ainsi que le département Trésorerie et Opérations Financières. Le VIE aura pour mission de développer et améliorer les outils de modélisation pour la planification et la prise de décision. Il sera également chargé de développer des outils de mesure de la performance.

Ce poste nécessite de solides compétences en finance, un fort esprit d’équipe, un sens aigu des priorités, de fortes capacités d'analyse ainsi qu’une aisance relationnelle.

Principales responsabilités :

  • Développer de nouveaux outils de modélisation financière
  • Proposer des améliorations des tableaux et outils existants
  • Assurer un alignement avec les méthodes, process et outils Airbus Groupe


Formation :

  • Obtention d'un master en finance ou équivalent


Expériences et compétences requises :

  • Expertise en modélisation financière (business model, coûts, prévisionnels)
  • Solides compétences en finance et analyse de la performance
  • Notions de gestion de projets
  • Maîtrise du pack Office - La maîtrise de la suite Google ainsi que de Qlik Sense est un plus
  • Excellentes capacités de communication
  • Appétence pour les nouvelles technologies comme l’IA
  • Aisance relationnelle et capacité à travailler en équipe dans un environnement multiculturel
  • Autonomie
  • Premières expériences réussies en stages
