Job Description:

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecolog ical Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business Fra nce’s eligibility criteria. VIE Main Requirements:

  • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)
  • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any
  • Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28

The contract duration of VIE is 18 months.

A VIE for a Regional Intelligence monitoring Analyst (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Herdon. You will join the Aftermarket Strategy Services.

The mission will consist of developing regional intelligence activities to improve the understanding of the strategies of regional services players. You will work at the core of market dynamics to support Airbus' business growth.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

  • Map regional competitors’ landscape, set up & footprint, strategy and identify main differentiators.
  • Develop regional intelligence databases, jointly with Airbus Commercial counterparts.
  • Prepare regular regional forums documents and presentation to share competitive intelligence dossiers with your main interfaces.
  • Provide contextual information to business development teams when needed to assist on their respective projects in relation with political, economic, environmental, regulatory, market situation.
  • Identify and consolidate major market trends and moves in your region, jointly with the Airlines & Services Marketing team.
  • Formalize identified trends through creative and documented reports.

This role will involve occasional travel for business in Virginia and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience:

  • A Master's degree (or equivalent) in business with a keen interest in mathematics and science.
  • A previous experience in an industry (apprenticeships and internships included).
  • Knowledge in market analysis, data processing or strategic intelligence.
  • IT tools: Office suite / Google suite skills.

In addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Excellence in communication skills and robust analytical skills.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, dynamic, curious, and proactive.
  • Strong ability for teamwork and ability to speak up to proactively share ideas and feedback.
  • Language Skills: negotiation/fluent level of English.
  • Discretion, diplomacy and confidentiality are essential skills to manage Strategy communications.

Le Volontariat International en Entreprise est un programme unique au monde sponsorisé par les Ministères français de l’Europe et des Affaires Etrangères, du Ministère de l’Economie et des Finances et du Ministère de la Transition écologique et de la Cohésion des territoires et qui permet à Airbus d'offrir à de jeunes professionnels la possibilité d'acquérir une expérience rémunérée et valorisante à l'étranger, dans un métier technique ou commercial. La durée de ce VIE est de 18 mois.

Un poste sous contrat VIE d'Analyste en Veille Concurrentielle Régionale (m/f) est à pourvoir au sein d’Airbus à Herdon.

Vous rejoindrez le département Stratégie / Veille Concurrentielle.

La mission consistera à développer des activités de veille stratégique régionale afin d'améliorer la compréhension des stratégies des acteurs des services régionaux. Vous évoluerez au cœur des dynamiques de marché pour soutenir le développement commercial d'Airbus.

Missions et responsabilités :

Vous serez en charge des activités principales suivantes :

  • Cartographier le paysage des concurrents régionaux, leur organisation, leur empreinte, leur stratégie et identifier leurs principaux facteurs de différenciation.
  • Développer des bases de données de veille régionale, conjointement avec les homologues d'Airbus Commercial.
  • Préparer les documents et les présentations pour les forums régionaux réguliers afin de partager les dossiers de veille concurrentielle avec vos principales interfaces.
  • Fournir des informations contextuelles aux équipes de développement commercial en cas de besoin pour les aider dans leurs projets respectifs en lien avec la situation politique, économique, environnementale, réglementaire et du marché.
  • Identifier et consolider les grandes tendances et évolutions du marché dans votre région, conjointement avec l'équipe Marketing Compagnies Aériennes & Services.
  • Formaliser les tendances identifiées à travers des rapports créatifs et documentés.

Des déplacements professionnels sont à prévoiroccasionellement en Virigine et, de ce fait, vous devez être disposé(e) à vous déplacer en conséquence.

Compétences requises

Vous avez les expériences et les compétences suivantes :

  • Titulaire d'un diplôme (ou équivalent) de niveau Bac+5 dans le domaine du commerce / du marketing.
  • Une première expérience dans une industrie (apprentissages et stages compris).
  • Connaissances en analyse de marché, traitement de données ou veille stratégique.
  • Outils informatiques : Maîtrise de la suite Office / Google Suite.

En outre, vous êtes en mesure de démontrer les compétences suivantes :

  • Excellence en communication, autonomie, rigueur et solides compétences analytiques.
  • Esprit d'équipe, dynamisme, curiosité, proactivité et capacité à s'exprimer pour partager des idées.
  • Discrétion, diplomatie et sens de la confidentialité indispensables pour gérer les communications stratégiques.
  • Compétences linguistiques : Niveau de négociation en anglais.
