The Opportunity

Do you want to enroll in the Research and Technology (R&T) Rear End department? Would you like to apply and grow your experience as an Aerospace/Mechanical engineer? You are willing to share your ideas and build proposals with the team.

We want to invite you to join a multi-skilled (design, stress and system installation) and highly engaged team, working on cutting edge technologies shaping the future of commercial aviation.

The Airframe R&T Rear Fuselage and Empennage team is part of multidisciplinary team with:

  • Airframe R&T Engineering Teams
  • R&T Project Leaders
  • M&P (Materials and Process)
  • Manufacturing/Assembly Engineering
  • Industrial Architects
  • Supporting functions: Weight estimation, Operability & Maintenability, Costing, Procurement, Finance...
  • Subcontractors
  • External partners

Main Responsibilities

  • Be involved in new architecture developments by proposing and studying new structural concepts.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on current progress, workings and issues.
  • Offer support to management with regards to team/department strategies or any other topic as needed
  • Ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
  • Deliver technical reports on his/ her domain of activity.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Degree in Engineering

- English: negotiation level

- Spanish: negotiation level

- General knowledge in: Composites & Materials design
- Skills valued: Design of experiment experience, Knowledge of aeronautical structural analysis will be highly valued


- Analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.

- Ability to work in complex and international environments.

- Adaptable to shifting priorities and evolving business needs.

To become a young talent in a Company, you must fulfil the following conditions:

- Age requirements to meet : Over 18 and under 28 years old on the date you apply and register on the Mon VI website. The assignment must start no later than your 29th birthday (bearing in mind that a V.I.E contract always starts on the 1st of the month).

- Be French or a European citizen.

- Be in good standing with regard to the national service obligations of your country(ies) (defence ID n°).

- Have a clean criminal record.

- Be able to devote yourself full time to your assignment :no part-time work, entrepreneurship, studies or paid activity at the same time as your V.I.E.
