Description

As a SAP Integration Suite specialist, the candidate must understand the design, harmonization and integration of complex IT landscapes between SAP and Non SAP (On-Prem and cloud applications) using state-of-the-art integration technology.

The candidate should have a good experience in SAP PO and BTP Integration suite application. This is a technical specialist role focused on the development, migration, and maintenance of our SAP integration landscape. The candidate will be responsible for building complex interfaces in SAP Integration products and contributing to the technical migration from SAP PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite. As part of this role candidates ensure technical standards are met through peer reviews and platform governance metrics for stability, while providing technical mentorship to the wider team.

The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team, using mainly Agile mind-set and methodology (SCRUM).

Qualification & Experience

• 6+ years in development and optimization of inbound and outbound interfaces based on SAP PO and SAP BTP Integration Suite.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• Deep Experience in SAP PO development, maintenance and optimization.
  
• Proficiency with SAP BTP services including Cloud Integration, API Management, Advanced Event Mesh , and Cloud Connector .
  
• Expertise in API management developments and strong knowledge of the Policies.
  
• Good knowledge on Tenant Administration and BTP Cockpit sub account management.
  
• Experience in Edge Integration Cell, S/4 transformation and PO-to-BTP IS migration is a significant advantage.
  
• Strong knowledge of Web Services and API technologies (REST, OData, XML/JSON, SOAP, XSLT).
  
• Advanced proficiency in Groovy Scripting, Java, and User Defined Functions (UDFs).
  
• Solid understanding of On-Premise, Private Cloud, and Public Cloud architectures to establish correct communication protocols and secure integrations.
  
• Deep understanding of security protocols and metrics, including Encryption (PGP, SSL/TLS), Authentication(mTLS, SAML, OAuth2 etc).
  
• Experience in managing the availability and stability of production environments including system maintenance, performance optimization and ensuring 24/7 reliability of critical interfaces in a high-compliance landscape.
  
• Strong communication skills to interact directly with business stakeholders, gather functional requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  

Roles:

• Drive the build of complex, high-volume interfaces using modern integration patterns.
  
• Take technical responsibility for moving PO flows to BTP without business disruption.
  
• Act as a technical point of contact for business units to define integration scope and requirements.
  
• Conduct technical code reviews to ensure all team developments meet quality standards and security compliance.
  
• Enforce governance in platform standards by monitoring security compliance, system health and architectural integrity across the landscape.
  

Responsibilites:

• Develop and maintain end-to-end integration flows using BTP Integration Suite services and SAP PO, leveraging Groovy, XSLT, and Graphical Mapping.
  
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and maintenance for production interfaces.
  
• Transform business requirements into scalable technical designs, ensuring all edge cases and security requirements are addressed.
  
• Enforce naming conventions, documentation standards, and architectural patterns across the landscape.
  
• Apply deep knowledge of integration patterns to define and implement solutions according to Airbus standards, ensuring architectural consistency and reusability.
  
• Establish secure connectivity across hybrid landscapes (On-premise to Cloud) using appropriate protocols and SAP Cloud Connector.
  
• Continuous understanding and awareness of the SAP roadmaps and strategies with respect to Integration.
  
• This role will support a global template of SAP S/4 transformation with BTP-IS rollout, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with best practices.
