Job Description:

An Electrical Architect (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane.

In the frame of Electrical Integration team, you shall be able to perform complex system architecture and develop it , by capturing all stakeholder needs. You will be the end to end System Design Responsible of Electrical systems.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main responsibilities will include:

To define Electrical architecture for all systems to be integrated inside Helicopters, taken into account safety, environment and functional interfaces.
To support System Design Responsible (SDR) and suppliers to validate equipment interfaces (Interface Control Document ICD).
To validate System Design Responsible (SDR) définition documents (Installation Definition Document IDDs).
To write specifications and standards linked to Electrical definition.
To select electrical sub-components to be used for electrical definition.
To support Major Incidents team with his expertise, and propose solutions to solve incidents.
To support Electrical manufacturing and Final Assembly line.
To support In Service fleet for electrical needs
To participate to Change Boards. Check that all proposed modifications are compliant with Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) requirements, and compliant with the applicable electrical architectures.
To participate to pre-studies and offer elaboration

Required skills:
You will have the following skills and experience:

Educated to 3 years' degree level, in electrical domain.
At least 5 years of experience
Knowledge of system (core and mission)
Knowledge of Electrical architectures, harnesses rules and design
Knowledge in following tools is appreciated: SEE, SAP, WINDCHILD, CATIA V4/V5
Experience in project management
Good communication, open mindness, good listening capacity, capacity to influence/charisma, service mindness, decision making

Language Skills: Intermediate level in English, Fluent level in French
