Job Description:

We are looking for a talented engineer with focus on Model-Based Systems Engineering to join the Airbus Protect Team within the Sustainability Business Unit, in Filton.

You will be part of a team focused on development processes, with other experienced specialists and experts to support and ensure the compliance, adherence and deployment of Systems Engineering and Model-Base Systems Engineering principles across the Fuel Systems community of Airbus Commercial Aircraft.

The role ...

  • Support development activities associated with the ATA28 Fuel system, subsystems and equipment.
  • Work with other ATA28 Engineers and signatories along with interfaces such as Fuel systems interfaces, Certification specialists, Procurement and Vendors.
  • Capture needs from the Fuel Systems community.
  • Drive the development of MBSE solutions and validate them.
  • Deploy MBSE solution in the Systems community, including System suppliers.
  • Support ATA28 System activities, including system development and plan reviews required within the Statement of Work (SoW), supplier engagement and stakeholder management.


The role will be based in Filton, UK and may require travels depending upon specific projects and engagement with all sites.

Are you the one ?

Experience required:

  • You hold an Engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge/Experience on System Engineering.
  • Interest/Experience in MBSE.
  • Experience in embedded systems development is a plus.
  • Experience in MBSE deployment or other transformation is a plus.
  • Requirements management, including use of DOORS and V&V activities are desirable.
  • Negotiation level in English.
