Supply Chain Quality Manager - ZPO Asia
Are you interested in joining Airbus Atlantic, the worldwide aerostructure manufacturer and contributing to one of its major challenges supporting and developing its Supply Chain?
If yes, then we have opportunities for you to join the Airbus Atlantic Procurement Operations Organization as Supply Chain and Quality Manager (m/w) .
The Procurement Operations Department is organized between 4 Procurement Commodities. You will be part of one of those and a key member of the organization.
The role of SCQM is a very recognized and leading role within our supplier performance management strategy.
You will be in charge of the overall performance and compliance of a given supplier or a portfolio of suppliers to ensure On Time and on Quality deliveries to our customers . You will also bring the Supply Chain and Quality contribution to the Procurement
Multi-Functional Team and implement the Procurement strategy.
Missions and activities
Your main activities will be
- Engaging Suppliers
- Contributing and supporting the multifunctional team and deploying the associated strategy
- Contributing to the supplier’s selection and supporting definition contractual requirements and claim management with suppliers
- Securing to the deployment of Supply Chain standards, and quality method and tools such as APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
- Ensuring that suppliers have clear plans to support the rate evolution
- Managing suppliers and ensuring on Supplier site presence
- Checking supplier compliance to Airbus Atlantic and EASA regulations
- Establishing industrial risks analysis and monitoring associated surveillance plan
- Early warning, alerting and bringing the issues to management level
- Identifying and supporting improvement plan and development needs with the supplier to improve the industrial maturity and robustness
- Guarantying the convergence to industrial maturity objectives: capability and capacity.
- Following the on time and on quality of the supplier and launch correctives actions if required
- Performing regular industrial assessment at the supplier facilities (Gemba walk, survey)
Your activities will be performed thanks to different tools, you will have to get familiar to. You will be involving as well to internal and external suppliers Audit approval and Supplier Control Review.
This role will involve regular travels for business (once a month) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly
Skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Educated with degree in Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering or Business Management (or equivalent)
- Recognized experience in one or several of those domains: Supply Chain & Quality, Manufacturing engineering, Engineering, Customer Support and Operations.
- Deep knowledge in Quality management system
- Knowledge of Supply Chain basic principles: APICS Basics or equivalent
- Basic knowledge in project management
- Experience in stakeholder/customer management
- Engineering background is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership: influencing, assertiveness, ability to challenge the status quo with of all hierarchical levels of a suppliers' management
- Autonomy and organization skills
- Customer orientation
- Negotiation level in English is a must
