A job opportunity as Supply Officer for Procurement has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid (Spain).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will join the Supply Chain team . In your role Supply Officer , you will:
- Manage contract execution, being responsible for supplier On Quality On Time (On Cost when applicable) performance.
- Perform an effective control of supplier activities, securing a close understanding of supplier overall situation and scope.
- Act as focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain & Quality Management team the implementation of recovery, improvement and development plan in order to secure delivery of the products and services in conformity with contract
- Maintain a close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer sites, to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured goods or services.
- Act as the main interface with internal customer and manage missing parts and priorities to ensure Customers Operations.
- Provide consolidated forecast to suppliers and ensure that suppliers will have the required capacity.
- Identify the supplier industrial risks and propose mitigation actions.
SKILLS:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-4 years of professional experience in a related role.
- Previous experience in Supply Chain operations will be considered
- Previous experience in Space program and Quality management will be considered
- Experience of working in a matrix environment with proven record of successful stakeholder management
- Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
- Negotiation level of English and Spanish
- Nice to have: Knowledge of SAP, EMS & SMIS would be an asset. Master in Big Data, IA knowledge, Google Workspace
