Role, tasks and responsibilities:
Sizing of aircraft components, parts and assemblies (transmissions and rotors).
Structural analysis during design, definition, development and modification phases.
Trade off analysis for different design solutions.
Linear and nonlinear structure analysis with the Finite Element Method (FEM).
Analysis and evaluation of structural strength, stability, damage tolerance and fatigue.
Providing and reviewing technical documentation.
Presenting and reviewing analysis results.
Ability to technical lead of projects to validate assumptions, results and conclusions.
Ability to delegate small technical tasks to the team.
Our requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years’ experience in stress department in Aeronautical industry, Automotive Gear Transmissions or similar.
Experience in structural analysis.
Experience in FEM tools (preferably HyperWorks/Simcenter and Nastran/Samcef).
Standard stress methods knowledge.
Metallic and composite materials knowledge.
Proficiency in CAD is a plus.
Programming skills will be an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good team spirit, autonomy, engaged.
Very good command of English (B2 level or higher).
German or French will be an advantage.
