Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Simulation Electronics Engineer (f/m) to join our Modeling & Simulation department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of an Integration Platforms team and will be in charge of the development and maintenance of electronic products for simulation means (integration simulators and benches):

  • Interfaces between real avionic systems and simulated means: cabinets, racks, electronic cards and wiring.
  • Specific benches for engines and flight control systems.
  • Related test means.

These simulation means are used by test engineers to validate aircraft systems.

Your challenges:

Being responsible for the electronic activities for the development and maintenance of simulators:

  • Analysis and costing of potential electronic configurations,
  • Design and specification of the architecture of Electronic Interfaces that link simulation to real equipment,
  • Monitoring the development of Electronic Interfaces: Planning activities, estimating and monitoring expenses, monitoring internal and outsourced activities, risk management and opportunities, participation in project meetings,
  • You will be responsible for the application of the DE.SO.01.04 process and the different standards (safety, environment,...),
  • Technical interface with the subcontracting teams (Architecture - Design - Procurement):
  • Technical support for design decisions and choice validation,
  • Consistency of choices with existing strategies (e.g. homogenization of the fleet references, material testability, spare stocks, etc...)
  • Validation and acceptance of subcontracted deliverables
  • Technical interface with the test teams (Architecture, wiring, simulation configuration) and the team of simulation product managers:
  • Validation of the specifications of the test teams
  • Specification and delivery of electronic requirements to test teams for application to their subcontractors,
  • You will be responsible for the alignment of processes between test and simulation teams. Ex: alignment of wiring processes.


Your boarding pass:

  • Solid experience in analog and digital electronics
  • Project management skills with proven experience
  • Level of study: Engineer or equivalent
  • Language skills: negotiation level of English and French (mandatory)
