This position is part of our Sustainability Unit, which aims to empower businesses to build a sustainable future

Task description

  • Act as a Key User for SAP EHSM and other IT tools to define business requirements, provide feedback on solutions, and validate the final product for product compliance and other environmental regulations
  • Provide ongoing and intensive project management support for ecodesign and other sustainability initiatives, including progress reporting, MoMs, KPI tracking, and action management
  • Manage the end-to-end process of environmental declarations, including data maintenance, IT operations for compliance analysis, and notification management for regulations such as REACH and SCIP
  • Support the creation and deployment of change management concepts related to ecodesign requirements, processes, and tools
  • Interact with various stakeholders, including the Business PM/PO to define requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Provide input for the product backlog and coordinate the key user network within the perimeter
  • Support the creation and updating of documents and processes to tackle ecodesign-related requirements coming from regulations like WFD, WEEE, Batteries, ErP, and ESP
  • Support tool development to increase the quality of environmental declarations by identifying improvement gaps and testing implementations
  • Assumption of functional and/or project-related tasks in projects
  • Preparation of documentation and presentation of work results



Required qualifications

The work task requires knowledge and skills, which are usually provided by a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Material Science & Engineering, Chemistry or Aerospace Engineering, a standard period of study of more than 4 years with a degree and related subject-specific additional qualification or completed vocational training with a corresponding, particularly extensive, subject-specific additional qualification. The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways

Skills and competences

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
  • Profund experience in project and change management
  • Experience with regulations and compliance topics like REACH, SCIP, WFD, WEEE, and ecodesign regulations
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the definition and development of business applications
  • Proficiency in using SAP EHSM and/or other environmental data management tools as well as agile methodology and tools like Jira
  • Customer-oriented and open-minded person with a great sense of initiative and the ability to adapt to changes and to manage confidential topics
  • Committed, proactive and team-orientated way of thinking and acting
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness for (occasional) business trips at home and abroad
