Primary Responsibilities

  • To administer, manage and conduct internal audits and product audit in accordance with the annual audit plan and ensure all deficiencies are identified and addressed
  • Coordinate and implement Quality Systems to attain Company, CAAM and other NAA approval.
  • To manage all audit findings carried out internally and by CAA Malaysia/NAA to assure they are attended to and resolved within the agreed time-frame
  • To manage and coordinate all activities concerned with training to AHM client’s personnel and be responsible to ensure all work and processes conforms to statutory and legal requirements and meet quality standards
  • Assist the liaison with CAAM/NAA on Pilot Training/ Simulators issues
  • Assist the Quality Manager in providing guidance and direction for the planning, implementation and operation of the organization’s Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Periodic review of SMS/TPM/TQMSM/NAA’s Supplements to meet the changing organizational requirements while meeting the applicable and current regulatory requirements
  • Initiate and conduct Aviation Safety Investigation on any incident and accident in the organization.
  • Responsible in validating and analysis of audit finding (internal and NAA) Root Cause/ Corrective Action Plan and Preventive Action
  • To prepare and organize the Annual Quality Review
  • Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Independent Auditing: Develop and execute the Annual Internal Audit Plan, covering all hangar operations, workshops, technical records, and support departments to ensure compliance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and ISO 9001 Standards Manual
  • Authorization Management: Manage the issuance, renewal, and control of certification privileges (Return to Service) for all Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Pilot Authorisation in accordance with AHM MOE.
  • Assist in activities of Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) including Human Factors issues as part of quality management functions.
  • Preparing standard practices and procedures (MOE, CAME , SMS Manual including the associated procedure(s) for use within the organization and ensuring their adequacy regarding Part-145, Part M and any amendments to the regulation
  • Supplier & Subcontractor Oversight: Perform audits of external vendors and subcontractors to ensure they meet the airworthiness and quality standards required for aviation hardware and specialized services.
  • Assessing and approving Subcontractors and suppliers of new and used components and materials for satisfactory product quality in relation to the needs of AHM
