CONTEXT

Digital within Airbus is a transnational organisation mirroring the Industrial landscape. We are organized in Product and Service Lines (PSL) that have End-to-End (E2E) accountability and responsibility for their IT solutions. Within the PSL ”E2E Planning & Logistics“ you will join the product team “Transport Management” responsible for the IT solutions and associated processes across all AIRBUS sites.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In close collaboration with our logistics business colleagues, we are providing state-of-the-art IT solutions to enable competitive, standardized and robust logistics operations. For this purpose we have jointly launched several logistics transformation initiatives.

You will be part of a Agile Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) designing, implementing and deploying new logistics IT solutions by applying new concepts and technologies (mainly Transport, Track & Trace, SAP Hana and S/4HANA, Ui5, including Robotics...).

  • Participation to the all ceremonies related to scope project
  • Coordination with all Digital stakeholders
  • Be responsible to provide the adequate resources to develop business requirements
  • Be responsible for the follow-up, the solution & MiP
  • Organise & follow up the budget for the Digital ressources
  • Capture programme and other useful metrics, to support relentless improvement
  • Prepare for PI Planning and ensure the vision, roadmap and programme backlogs are ready
  • Prepare Steering committee and represent IM team
  • Be involve and provide new solution validation (collaboration with architecture team)
  • Help teams with feature estimation and the aggregation of estimates for larger pieces of work such as capabilities and epic s
  • Manage risks, dependencies and resolve impediments

MAIN TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Conducts in-depth discovery meetings, targeted at understanding, capturing, and identifying the complex business requirements and operational objectives of the AIRBUS logistics department, with recommendations on innovative SAP technologies .

- Defines and develops the required technical specification documents to be reviewed with stakeholders and product team members

- Manages / Integrates the work of the IT sub-contractors

- Manages and is part of the realization of new logistics IT solutions in a multinational organization following a joint approach with business and other technical experts based on the agile framework (SAFe) to ensure integrity of the solution delivered

- Serves as liaison between Product Management teams and development resources during product development and implementation to ensure integrity of the solution delivered

- Identifies areas for improvement in business processes providing possible IT solutions compliant with the IT strategy

- Supports the IT Product Manager in the Product/Service Planning based on customer and technical requirements

- Produces documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and benefits in a manner appropriate for the customer

- Monitors external business trends in order to better challenge the business requirements.

COMPETENCES

- Several years of experience in SAP Supply Chain Management (HANA, Ui5/Fioi, MM, SD, WM, QM, EWM, S/4HANA)

- Experience in logistics / Transport and third-party logistics (3PL) processes

- Project management

  • Strong practical experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge and experience of Software quality assurance
  • Strong abilities in coordinating complex project schedules, resolving competing dependencies, and fostering collaboration among globally distributed teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of communication planning, risk management and risk mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge of process and production audits
  • Strong facilitating skills
