Accountabilities
As an employee of Aerostack, a Joint Venture between Airbus and an automotive company and in line with Airbus strategy to accelerate Zero Emission Aircraft development and build competences and skills in the technology domain, the jobholder will be accountable:
- To support the development and to enforce the implementation of the company’s Quality Management System.
- To define, coordinate and control the quality standards and processes within the company, especially according to requirements from the aviation sector.
- To manage and control all documents relevant to development and production processes, e.g. drawing releases / borderline catalogues / work instructions / control plans / inspection documents / process-related documentation / etc.
- To ensure Product Quality level in accordance with Company objective and detailed in Aerostack Quality plan
Main responsibilities
- Define the Product Quality Policy according to the Company's objectives.
- Support the implementation of the Aerostack Quality Management System.
- Ensure the definition of the associated processes and continuous improvement by the process owners.
- Support the implementation of the continuous improvement policy of Aerostack for all of the company's processes by monitoring of the quality system to improve its operation and in order to guarantee the quality of products and services via internal audits, investigations of important technical facts, surveys
- Ensure the interface with the Certification bodies, prepare and participate in audits from authorities. Facilitate the processing of audit discrepancies.
- Create and update the associated Quality Manuals.
- Support industrial projects having an impact on future Quality System accreditation.
- Act as the focal point, the advisor and the expert for the Production Quality activities carried out in Aerostack.
- Facilitate the management of business processes, e.g. Change Review Board, Risk Reviews and Audits.
- Ensure a technological watch on "best practices" in terms of continuous improvement tools in line with customer requests.
Skills
As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following competencies & skills:
- Master degree in quality engineering, mechanical / aerospace engineering or similar
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in production quality systems, quality control and management in an industrial setting.
- Understanding of corporate, development and manufacturing/production processes, in particular with respect to relevant quality standards in the high-tech sector
- Experienced in risk management respecting product liability and appropriate documentation
- Pragmatic mindset, fair team player, high level of flexibility, willingness to travel and team management skills
- Professional in managing, organizing, coordinating and training of employees
- Capability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
- Fluent in German as it is essential to communicate with the production team and external suppliers
- Fluent in English
