We are now looking for a Quality engineering Design Support for Airbus GBS.

Responsibilities - your mission:

  • Be accountable to collaborate and connect with multi stakeholders to ensure
  • Design conformity and quality Standards adherence; You will be a strong support to WP leaders on quality vision and actions to take
  • Raise the voice of Quality in the Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) (mainly Engineering but also Manufacturing, Program, Procurement) in order to ensure that Quality is a key driver in decision making
  • Take ownership to deploy Quality Standard with the (MFT) for each development project
  • Deliver Risk analysis and Prevention plan using Quality tools (APQP, DFMEA, PPS, Root Cause analysis) and decide the most added value to resolve main
  • product quality & maturity issues on new/incremental development projects
  • Define adapted quality measurement, reports and analysis of Airframe non-quality items; you will use and establish previous program lessons learnt on non-qualities
  • Be a key player in the Quality transformation journey by spreading the quality mindset and driving some streams of Quality transformation Plan
  • Learn Continuously by being connected to Q community and share good practices
  • Coordinate Engineering Design Review (expl: Preliminary Design Review (PDR)); Ensure the quality of deliverables in order to achieve targeted maturity; coordinate. Review securing evidences with each stakeholders & guide panel members
  • Follow Design review actions and support engineering where necessary to implement solutions
  • Ensure APQP adherence and lead KBD assessment and DFMEA
  • Advise on Quality process, propose solutions & improvements
  • Be the voice of Quality with engineering and MFT
  • Deliver Root Cause Analysis of non Quality and propose prevention and corrective actions
  • Find solutions to prevent DQN, Modification & Non Quality issues
  • Raise Alert when critical deviation is detected


Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • Talent for agile, reliable and fast data management
  • Rigorous on data management, protection policy / confidentiality
  • Entrepreneurial mindset : proactively proposing improvement solutions to business, looking at performance / sustainability on short-mid-long term solutions,
  • Project management skills : understanding of the overall project management methodology, structured and organized way of working
  • Communication skills are key, creating trustful relationship quickly with remote work context
  • English is a must, and French, German or Spanish would be a plus
  • Full master of Google tools, including coding in Google workspace, as well as Microsoft Excel
  • Basic understanding of the aircraft, product and development process is welcome but not mandatory
  • Ethics & Compliance adherence is a must, with a clear understanding of rules around data confidentiality, AIRBUS Procurement process, GDPR as examples
