Job Description:

As a Quality Conformance Management (QCM) & Metrology Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the H125 helicopters meet the highest standards of quality, conformity and airworthiness. The employee will support the production activities related to the H125 Final Assembly Line and Flight Line located in Vemagal (India, Karnataka state).

As part of the Aviation Safety and Quality organisation, the employee will be responsible for two different activities: the first activity is related to the expertise on product process and failure analysis with operational process surveillance where the other activity is more related to the management of all the metrology activities related to means and equipment used at Airbus India Conformity Center in relation with the parts conformity.

Key Responsibilities related to the QCM activities:

  • To secure to obtain Quality right first time by means of mature processes
  • To lead and drive complex Quality process issue resolutions and process improvements.
  • To plan and perform operational process and inspectors (QLS) surveillance.
  • To manage product process and failure analysis.
  • To measure and facilitate improvements to increase product adherence to standards and both reliability and repeatability of processes.
  • To manage customer complaints.
  • To support methodically Practical Problem Solving activities and manage interfaces.
  • To deploy the Quality Blue Print process (to ensure Quality in our Production)
  • To monitor the plant Quality performance

Key Responsibilities related to Metrology Coordination:

  • Responsible for managing all measuring equipment at Airbus India Conformity Center related to part conformity.
  • Manage Adveso database.
  • Apply the contract with the supplier in charge to calibrate the equipment (Trescal).
  • Order, receive, identify and validate all new equipment.
  • Manage all non-conformity related to metrology and report.
  • Maintain the Metrology network with AH Marignane plant.
  • Train the operators & QLS for the usage and the daily management of measurement equipment.
  • Focal point for all audits (EASA, Special Process, surveillance...) related to metrology topic.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance related to the Aviation or Aerospace industry.
  • Mastering solving problems methods such as 8D, 5W, Ishikawa.
  • Experience in leading audit.
  • Experience in metrology processes.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and incident reports effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Knowledge of dashboard creation, KPI management, SPC.
  • Experience in quality standards, project, risk and change management and active implementation in the productive area.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of an international team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Autonomy and rigor to apply and follow standards.
  • Capacity to analyze, to propose solutions in a synthetic way.
  • Good communication skills.
