Airbus Defence and Space Quality Material Services located in Tablada, Seville, partnering with armed forces to deliver Quality in Material Services programs/projects with different contracts, for all Air Power programmes. Our main quality accountability is the main International Services Hub warehouse: ISH in ZAL Sevilla. We deliver Quality delegation on local teams, Optimum Centres, Global Support and Customers, including material certification for PART21 and PART145 on behalf of civil and military authorities.
Our Team
You will be part of the Quality Material Services department in Tablada site, which has a wide variety of quality projects and services. This dynamic and collaborative team works closely with internal business units, local teams and external stakeholders. As Quality Assurance warehouse and certifying staff member you will be involved in the material certification processes, quality inspections and new initiatives in the area of Quality Material Services to improve the material management for all our customers in Services.
Your tasks: Within the scope of this position, you will be in charge of:
- Contribute to the integrity of the Quality Management System in front of Official Civil and military regulations/requirements (Part 21, Part 145, Peram 145, EMAR FR, EMAR NLD, EN9100, PECAL/AQAP). Ensure compliance with maintenance normative/regulation.
- Qualified acceptance of material deliveries within the frame of certifying/incoming/delivering inspection.
- Checking and validating any material against Civil & Military regulations approvals.
- Certifying material with airworthiness certificates in accordance with EASA Part21, EASA Part 145, Peram 21, Peram 145, Emar FR 21/145, Emar NLD 21/145, CAA Part 21, CAA Part 145 or any other authorization given and approved by any authority.
- Checking the airworthiness directives for any material certification.
- Checking any Component Maintenance Manuals for Part145 certification.
- Creating discrepancies in different Airbus systems and supporting its resolution.
- Issuing the proper documentation in accordance to customer requirements.
- Checking and validating of all delivered Civil & Military airworthiness certificates information
- Supporting and be involved in any quality audits for material certification.
- Leading and driving the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting the measurement standards and identifying/facilitating improvements.
- Increasing process performance and product adherence to standards.
- Increasing reliability of processes and the repeatability of processes, at initial design phase, before any process changes are made and continuously through the life of a product.
- Providing Q performance visibility gathering and updating the adequate KPI scorecard.
- Launching the adequate corrective and preventive actions to solve discrepancies iaw KPIs results: Non conformances or customer complains.
- Managing and solving customer claims and customer issues for Material Services scope and providing back-office support.
Our requirements:
- Degree in Aerospace or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- A least 5 years of experience in activities which have allowed you to acquire sound skills and knowledge of:
- Quality
- Logistics
- Material Quality Management
- Production
- Maintenance
- Engineering
- Manufacturing
- Knowledge of Lean and Process improvement methods.
- Ability to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks.
- Strong communication skills including active listening and empathy.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convince in a transnational environment.
- Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, empowering, motivating others and conflict management.
- Quality IT tool knowledge would be a benefit.
- Knowledge in Airbus Technical Publications and Maintenance manuals would be a plus
- Knowledge of EASA/CAA/FAA and military regulations would be a plus.
- Knowledge of Civil and Military approvals would be a plus.
- Negotiation level of English is mandatory
- Advance level of German, Italian or French would be a plus.
- Availability to travel
- Availability to work in different shifts (mornings, afternoon, nights or weekends) if needed.
