We are now looking for a Purchasing Business Improver to join our Procurement team in Lisbon.

Responsibilities - your mission:

Position Summary: The Indirect Procurement Purchasing Business Improver launches quality / improvement projects to ensure that the right training is provided to the Purchasing Teams for the fulfillment of KPIs in regards to their activities.

Essential Functions:

  • Initiate improvement projects
  • Support / initiate automatization projects
  • Focal point to process & tools department
  • Providing training and awareness session
  • Communication with team leaders, delivery lead and internal stakeholders (Commodity buyers, process & tools department)
  • Organize and lead performance review meetings
  • Organize and lead process trainings / reviews
  • Use of other specific tools (Coupa, data visualization and reporting tools such as Big Data, Qlik Sense...)
  • Analyse results of internal audit and improve knowledge base
  • Training of newcomers


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support the team leaders in business improvement activities


Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years experience in Supply Chain and Quality or Procurement
  • 1-3 years experience in Data Analysis
  • Communication skills
  • Be customer focused, understand priorities = knows how to prioritize in case of emergencies
  • Eager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvement
  • A degree in in Engineering, Business or Procurement and/or data related field is a plus
  • Fluent in English (negotiation level)
  • Enjoy a dynamic and multicultural environment with a lot of different tools and variety of products and services
  • Shows a lot of reliability rigor and concentration at work
