To join us on this journey and manage and develop these strategic projects, we are seeking a PROJECT MANAGER for TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS in Madrid.

Within the Operations Department and working in close coordination with other departments in the Group, at local and global levels, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of critical communications and cybersecurity projects for both the public and private sectors. This includes supporting the commercial team in defining project requirements with clients, planning the necessary technical and human resources, and overseeing project execution and commissioning.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• End-to-end project management for secure communication systems based on 3GPP specifications for 4G/5G technologies and cybersecurity systems.
  
• Management of innovative projects, guiding clients through the digital transformation of their processes.
  
• Coordination of integration activities between Airbus’ critical collaboration and cybersecurity solutions and third-party equipment and solutions, ensuring the functionality required by the customer.
  
• Planning and coordination with the client and operations teams to ensure the Project execution throughout the full lifecycle, from design to handover.
  
• Support the Sales team in defining the Projects solution and scope with the client.
  

Skills and experience:

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  
• At least 3 years of experience managing Systems Integrations projects withing the telecommunications or IT sectors.
  
• Experience with 3GPP systems, architectures, and protocols, as well as cybersecurity systems, is desirable.
  
• Proactive and collaborative work style, with a customer-oriented approach.
  
• Spanish (fluid written and spoken).
  
• English (fluid written and spoken).
