Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in standardization, harmonization, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g.Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Our target is that siloed ways of working / processes will be a relic of the past within the AGBS. Responsibilities - your mission
Make a step change in your career with AIRBUS: we are looking for a motivated individual in our team to perform the role of Project Management Business Partner (PMBP) to participate in creating the Airbus future.
We support key projects across the company and spread PM (Project/Programme management) culture across Airbus. In our daily business we are at the crossroads between management and operations.
BCSD provides PM support and expertise to the BCSD A320 Family Development PM Office projects, in order to “perform the modifications required and guarantee their correct start of production, prepare ramp-up to full rate, in order to ensure that our products remain competitive and profitable in a very changing market environment”
The main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Working with the project leader & project organization on a day to day basis
- Raising the understanding and acceptance of PM within the project/portfolio population by coaching and/or awareness sessions; challenging project leaders where needed
- Applying methods and tools in accordance to PM standards to the needs of the project
- Supporting efficient communication and stakeholder management
- Integration and analysis of time, cost, resources and quality data.
- Risk and opportunity anticipation incl. follow-up of robust mitigation plans.
- Project milestone reviews preparation and follow-up.
- Regular projects status reporting by providing adequate indicators and analysis (KPI, Dashboard, recommendations, etc.) supporting the overall decision-making process.
- Deployment and use of digitalisation tools (Skywise environment) in line with BC standards and strategy to ensure an efficient monitoring & controlling process.
- Projects interconnection management, to secure right alignments between (among others) the aircraft development organization and the operations organization.
This role may involve occasional travel for business and as such you must be able to travel
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have
You have the following skills and experience:
- Strong facilitation skills for coaching, motivating & enabling the team;
- Ability to listen, understand and respond in a constructive manner;
- Ability to negotiate, influence and to manage conflicts;
- Willingness and ability to handle changes on a day-to-day basis;
- Challenge mind-set, ability to speak up; and, interested in deploying new ways of working,
- Optional: Knowledge and experience in agile project management methodologies (Scrum, SAFe ...)
- Experience in stakeholder management, ability to engage skills of different functions of Negotiation level of English; French and/or German a plus
