Airbus has started its Digital journey. The objective is to transform the company and to prepare it for the future. This transformation includes new global governance, new ways of working and the implementation of digital business services and platforms managed by Airbus.

It is a very complex and demanding role at the heart of the IM function where collaboration and drive for results will be key for your own success. You need to manage yourself in a kind and assertive manner to ensure we hold each other accountable to succeed.

You need to be comfortable leading people across all functions, also contributing to activities that can influence our stakeholders on the top management level .

We need a mature and strong character not shy to speak up, able to clearly communicate and convince our networks of the key messages on the operational & project performance.

Qualification & Experience:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 8-10 years of IT experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Experience in managing software development / project management is mandatory


Expert level:

  • Strong experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Experience in managing diverse nature of projects across various Product Life Cycles.
  • Usage and familiarity of various state of the art tools (e.g. VersionOne, Jira, etc.)
  • Quality Management System certified to EN9100, ISO9001.
  • Certification in ITIL and Waterfall / Agile/ SAFe project methodologies
  • Experience with conflict resolution, scope management, issue & risk tracking, communicating to clients and partners and vendor management
  • Experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders transnationally
  • Design and deliver customized training for the team
  • Ability to think creatively and resolve impediments quickly
  • Ability to handle changes smoothly and positively


Intermediate level:

  • Experience with continuous delivery, DevOps, and release management
  • Ability to communicate concisely and accurately to team and to management
  • Experienced in working within a product delivery lifecycle and Safe methodology


Responsibilities

  • Implement Airbus Business Management System in Digital with focus on CoE for ERP Domain
  • Manage and monitor partners & subcontractors. He/she manages contractual relationships (in partnership with Procurement) to successfully ensure the delivery on time, cost & quality with relevant partners. He/she ensures products are delivered meeting the expected business value
  • Roadmap Management, Deployment Planning / Coordination & Regular Status Reporting
  • He/She must work closely with business partners and key contacts, including their business models & operations, addressing major challenges and the resulting expectations and needs
  • Deploy Airbus Quality Standards
  • Manage Airbus Business Requirements coming from key areas within the business, Export Control, Company Security, Data governance, etc., to ensure compliance in our ways of working
  • Drive simplification of the Digital Quality system and challenging the BMS at Central level
  • Reinforce the Quality mind set within our ERP PSLs( Product Service Lines)
  • Ensure cross collaboration and deployment of best practices across digital teams


The main focus of this role:

  • Drive the implementation of the digital Quality System working with the PSLs to ensure we meet the IM objectives
  • Assist with providing best practices for the PMO base on previous positions that include PMO set up and interaction & Generate reports based on defined practices and tools
  • Create scorecards to reflect overall performance on rationalization programs per PMO standards
  • Support different PSL teams in implementation of Airbus defined Quality methods, process, tools and templates
  • Working in a collaborative way with other teams within Quality department in EU, PSLs and the Business
  • Support the PSLs in Audit preparation
  • Ensure compliance with EN9100 requirements
  • Capture Customers feedback and facilitate Root cause Analysis and Action Planning
  • Participate in Metrics definition and analysis for the projects
  • Conduct and participate in the root cause analysis for identified issues in collaboration with Agile Coaches
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and drive a culture of effective feedback
  • An active listener who can help remove individual blocks through active listening & powerful questioning
  • Effective communicator who is adept at verbal, nonverbal and written communication
  • Strong Change Agent who sets high standards and expectations towards relentless improvement
