The Principal Product Manager acts as the critical technical and commercial bridge within the Flight Efficiency suite, ensuring that complex deals are both ambitious and executable. This role requires a high-energy, collaborative leader who uses an analytical and objective approach to protect the business from risk. By partnering with Deal Managers, Marketing, and Commercial teams, the Principal Product Manager validates the feasibility of high-stakes contracts and ensures that product evolutions within the SkyWise Command+ platform remain interoperable and positioned for maximum market impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the standard product offer for non-complex deals and establish clear criteria for complex deal classification
  • Coordinate with the Portfolio Manager and technical teams to evaluate feasibility and validate delivery timelines for custom requirements
  • Support the Portfolio Manager in monitoring the health of the Flight Efficiency suite, including N-Flight Planning, N-Tracking, N-Sight Safety, and Optimise
  • Interface with Commercial, Marketing, and CX teams to ensure global solution alignment and validate that technical elements in contracts are realistically deliverable
  • Provide market requirements for evaluation and support the prioritization of EPICs based on business value within the SAFe methodology
  • Drive high-energy engagement with Deal Managers to respond to technical requirements and RFPs while maintaining global consistency through specialized tools
  • Support Product Delivery and Level 3 teams during priority airline cutovers and advanced customer escalations to ensure value delivery
  • Align technical statements with the evolution of the Command+ platform to identify value multipliers across the SKYWISE ecosystem
  • Contribute to brand visibility through industry presentations and the publication of white papers to showcase product capabilities

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in flight operations, aviation technology, or aviation management
  • Deep understanding of flight planning concepts, dispatcher workflows, and industry standard tools like N-Flight Planning or equivalent
  • Expertise in defining Technical Statements of Work (SOW) and functional requirements for high-value contracts
  • Strong ability to objectively assess implementation risks and propose effective mitigation strategies to protect the business
  • Experience managing complex operational settings and assessing implementation risks
  • Strong understanding of SAFe / Agile Software Development

Communication Skills:

  • Collaborative Engagement, high-energy, and a proven track record of working effectively with internal stakeholders to navigate complex business deals
  • Technical Documentation & Consistency Proficiency in answering technical requirements documentation and using tools to ensure global consistency across deals
  • Stakeholder Influence: Ability to interface between commercial ambitions and technical reality to ensure global solution alignment
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms

Ability to travel globally (up to 25%)
