We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Portfolio Manager to serve as the business owner and visionary for the Flight Efficiency suite. You will oversee the health and growth of solutions focused on flight planning technology, dispatcher workflows, and operational resilience within the Command+ platform. The ideal candidate will champion sustainable aviation operations, drive product vision, own Product Epics, and collaborate across all business lines to deliver disruptive, market-leading outcomes and exceptional customer value.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor portfolio health and manage the product lifecycle, identifying growth opportunities from enhancement to strategic sunsetting
  • Own the product vision and continuously update roadmaps focused on advanced flight planning workflows, sustainability, and ecosystem interoperability
  • Define, prioritize, and lead the execution of key Product Epics, presenting objective, convincing narratives to support the onboarding of ideas, and establishing clear business requirements in line with the overarching company strategy
  • Collaborate with Software Factory to ensure successful delivery, linking features to strict acceptance criteria
  • Prepare actionable reports and update operational dashboards, including real-time progress reporting to the Value Management Office (VMO)
  • Support Principal Product Managers to ensure approved complex deals align with portfolio backlog management, while partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to deliver cohesive agile product strategies
  • Ability to create, mature, and communicate business cases that capture Industry Value and Corporate KPIs

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in flight operations, aviation technology, or aviation management
  • Strong command of Flight Dispatch concepts and regulations, with hands-on experience using N-Flight Planning software or equivalent industry standard tools
  • Experience leading significant sustainability concepts within the airline ecosystem, specifically focusing on fuel and operational efficiency projects
  • Proven expertise in project and portfolio management in a complex operational setting
  • Strong understanding of SAFe / Agile Software Development
  • Strong presentation skills

Communication Skills:

  • Exceptional ability to capture and hold the attention of customers and stakeholders, navigating cross-cultural communication to convey complex ideas and requirements in a simple, universally understood manner
  • Proven ability to create, mature, and communicate compelling business cases capturing Industry Value and Corporate KPIs. Must be able to present technical and commercial concepts clearly to executives, the aviation community, and development teams

Ability to travel globally (up to 25%)
