Main activities

The jobholder is responsible of ensuring the full performance of the Demand anticipation for A/C maintenance events. Main accountabilities are the following ones:

  • Interpretation of technical publications material requirements and consequent realisation into material supply/repair forecasts.
  • Analysis of material data for historical maintenance events, in order to develop a knowledge database for material scheduled and unscheduled demands.
  • Build a method/algorithm to generate a BOM (Bill of Material) for future maintenance events, according to the tasks to be performed during the event.
  • Evaluate the accuracy of the BOM by adherence analysis when compared with real consumption data in order to continuously improve the material prediction and increase material availability for the end customer.
  • Definition of internal processes and KPIs (customized according to each Customer’s requirements) in order to implement, monitor and maintain a spares stock and the pool of repairable items.

Required Skills

Knowledge required:

  • Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or Physics
  • Understanding of Aircraft Maintenance environment.
  • .Ability for dealing with large sets of data with an advance level in office package (Excel and Access).
  • Ability to concurrently manage multiple complex projects, and adapt effectively in a dynamic environment with unpredictable and shifting priorities.
  • problem-solving abilities. Technically capable of determining “what’s wrong” in complex situations and offering potential solutions; identifies root causes of problems and works with others to create effective solutions.
  • analytical skills. Ability to break down raw information and unstructured problems into specific, workable components that reflect drivers of causal issues. Makes logical conclusions, anticipates obstacles, and strives for superior results in a creative and resourceful manner.
  • conscientious attention to detail and accuracy; solid organizational skills. You must thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. Demonstrated success working in an ambiguous environment.
  • Fluent English written and spoken
  • AIRBUS internship will be a plus

  • Knowledge of Visual basic and/or other programming languages.
  • Basic database knowledge.

  • Basic project management knowledge (L-BIP/PMP)
