Job Mission:

  • PE (Process Engineer) is responsible for defining the best proven industrial sequence integrating all necessary inputs.
  • In the industrialisation phase, he/she designs the Build Process in MFT with Industrial Architect, ISE, ME Techno specialists, PPE, TSFS and Engineering, ensuring industrial needs using Co-Design and Co-Industrialization approach.
  • In the serial production phase PE is responsible for the integrated Manufacturing Engineering Dossier covering all the necessary means: engineering technical information, quality control & measurement tasks, components / parts, jigs & tools, maintenance tasks, health & safety, time.
  • Thanks to regular feedback loops & continuous improvement with the shop floor (including early PERT, STV and Standard Line Balancing drivers) pulling as soon as possible in the process the industrial constraints to support the engineering definition .
  • Ensure the right Configuration from definition to preparation / start in production
  • Align with Industrial Configuration Engineer


K ey responsibility :

For industrialization and serial production, PE (Process Engineer) is a ccountable / responsible for:

  • Build Process definition
  • Build and/or create Integrated Manufacturing Dossier from Definition dossier, including SOI
  • Detailed optimized process with STV calculation
  • Process efficiency and Serial Allocated Time VA / NVA to maximize the CVAT
  • Industrial feasibility of the definition dossier
  • Assess industrial impacts towards Engineering and support early PERT


He/she will also s upport the following roles as defined below:

  • PPE (Performance Process Engineer) in the creation of the PERT
  • PPE in the definition of the Reference SLB (CN) with constraints (Resources, Organization, Takt) (S)
  • PPE for the definition of the line balancing per product specific customer
  • PPE for the CVAT Efficiency, including White Space reduction and Red Space analysis and definition
  • Continuous Improvement along all process with focus on the critical path
  • ISE (Industrial Systems Engineer) to analyze and optimize existing manufacturing systems during major mods and/or manufacturing step changes.
  • ISE during the whole development process: from product definition phases towards manufacturing process in its operating environment.
