Job Summary

As a Metallic Engineer at Airbus India Private Limited, you will be responsible for the Metallic property analysis, and validation of metallic Raw materials, Components and structures for various aircraft programs, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and performance requirements.

Job Responsibilities

* Engineering qualification and also assessment of Materials and process of Metallic materials.
* Perform Analysis of static and dynamic properties of Metals - Raw material qualifications.
* Select appropriate metallic materials based on design requirements, cost, weight, and environmental considerations.
* Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., stress, manufacturing, aerodynamics) to integrate metallic components into larger aircraft systems.
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Support manufacturing and assembly processes, addressing any technical issues related to metallic components.
* Participate in the development and validation of test plans for metallic structures and components.
* Conduct root cause analysis for metallic component failures and implement corrective actions.
* Ensure adherence to aerospace industry standards, regulations, and Airbus internal procedures.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in metallic materials, manufacturing technologies, and design methodologies.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience (typically 3-7 years) in metallic Process and also Raw material qualification for the aerospace industry.
* Strong understanding of metallic material properties, heat treatment processes, and common manufacturing techniques (e.g., machining, forming, welding).
* Proficiency in titanium, Super alloys and special Steels.
* Knowledge of aerospace design principles, stress analysis, fatigue, and damage tolerance concepts.
* Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, FAR/CS).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
