#AirbusGetafePlant is responsible for S19 A350 assembly before delivery to Hamburg, Composites parts manufacturing with different technologies and Pre-FAL assembly lines for Horizontal Stabilizers for the SA, LR and XWB families.
Within this position y our key responsibilities will include:
- Championing Design for Manufacturability
- Influencing Engineering & Supply Chain: Push industrial requirements, specific design parameters, and material & process considerations to engineering and supply chain teams.
- Defining & Optimizing Build Processes: Develop and refine detailed build processes for manufacturing execution, including calculating operational times and managing technical sequencing.
- Specifying Industrial Assets
- Driving First Installation & Production Handover
- Ensuring Configuration Management: Take accountability for configuration management (specifically Delta 2), adhering to the standsrd proccedures.
- Mastering Manufacturing Documentation & Execution
- Creating Integrated Manufacturing Dossiers: Develop and maintain comprehensive dossiers including routings, Bills of Material (BoM), and Standard Operating Instructions (SOI), incorporating shop floor needs, time calculations, and Work Preparation Golden Rules (referencing A2019.1).
- Implementing Standard Work: Define and ensure the execution of the most effective and safe methods for performing tasks, meticulously described in the SOI.
- Integrating Standard Time Values
- Ensuring Robust Operations: Guarantee the execution of robust, reliable, and safe manufacturing operations.
- Leading Quality & Capability: Run and support PFMEA/FMEA analyses, provide measurement tasks for quality control boards, and secure robust capability processes.
- Supporting Supply Chain & Maintenance
- Ensuring Compliance: Integrate Health & Safety regulations, schedule demands, and economic aspects into all manufacturing processes.
- Signing Off on Key Documentation: Provide Manufacturing Engineering (ME) signature on Airbus Process Specifications (AIPS/AIPI) and Manufacturing Notice Instructions (MNI).
- Continuous Improvement & Strategic Impact
- Resolving Production Issues
- Fostering Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate directly and participate physically in Production Team routines, actively engaging in cross-skilled national and international project teams.
- Driving Shop Floor Optimization
- Optimizing Production Processes
- Contributing to Strategic Planning
- Evaluating Industrial Impacts
- Supporting Run@Rate: Perform and support the Run@Rate process when applicable, ensuring production readiness and efficiency.
