There is an opportunity in the Manufacturing Engineering Team of Tablada.

Tablada is the Pre-FAL for Airbus Defence and Space for Spanish workshare, therefore is a multiprogramme and multiproduct plant.

The opportunity is in the área of MCAs, where four Programs are produced: Power PlantA400M, MRTT Sub assy, Eurofighter and Boom. Therefore, this job request is to join the MultiFunctionalTeam in the Production Line of the MCAs of Tablada, responsable to deliver the Pre-FAL components to the Final Assembly Line and to provide support for in-service components.

Manufacturing Engineering is the technical organization inside Operations, doing the link between the design office with the shopfloor, and defining the industrial system to be operated in order to deliver a compliant product to our customers On Quality, On Time and On Cost.

Our role of Manufacturing Engineering encompasses 3 main areas:

  • Concurrency with Design Office: design for manufacturing, evaluating industrial impacts of MOD implementation, configuration control, Change Request proposal, Run and support P-FMEA/FMEA.
  • Industrialization: assembly process definition, tooling needs identification, work preparation of manufacturing documentations, time calculation of Work Orders, standard line balancing, optimize industrial sequence.
  • Sustaining: Manage shopfloor incidences, Support Production routines - Support shop floor continuous improvement, deploy Operational Excellence System in the production line, provide solutions to Non Conformities, Provide support to FAL in case of any request.


The main activities are :

- Drive implementation of 1st installation with required shop floor feedback loops.

- Create / update routings / BoM / SOI taken into account shop floor needs, Time calculation and Work Preparation Golden Rules in accordance with applicable processes. ç

- Specify industrial asset (Jigs, Tools, Tooling, Machines,...) requirements for creation or modification - Plan regular feedback loops with the Production Team

- Manage key / recurrent work prep issues escalated by the Production Team / Tech shop floor support

- Communicate directly and by a physical participation in Production Team routines

- Support shop floor continuous improvement by providing work prep expertise when issues not managed at shop floor level by technical shop floor support

- Support PPE in : * evaluating industrial impacts of modifications; * translating industrial requirements to design & supply chain.

- Accountable for Support configuration management

- Run and support P-FMEA/FMEA - Depending on the division, provide technical expertise to the DPE.

- Role of ME within supply chain management guaranteeing full consistency and effectivity of data (eg: Missing part, stock, Material Requirement Planning impacts)

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Educated in an Engineering degree or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering

• Proactive person.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Organized & Structured.

• Advanced level in English and Spanish.
