Vos défis :

• Diriger le déploiement et l’application rigoureuse du Processus de Développement de Produit (PDP) pour les développements majeurs au sein de l’ingénierie d’Airbus Canada, en synchronisant de manière proactive les processus d'ingénierie locaux avec les normes mondiales d'Airbus pour assurer un cadre d'ingénierie unifié et cohérent dans un environnement de développement transnational à enjeux élevés;
  
• Définir et piloter la base de référence du développement d'ingénierie en assurant la planification et les coûts intégrés, en veillant à ce que toutes les hypothèses de projet et les portées des travaux soient documentées, validées et alignées sur les objectifs du programme. Établir la synthèse et la communication de ces références au leadership d’ingénierie trans-national et formuler les recommandations pour décision.;
  
• Établir et piloter un cadre standardisé d'établissement des coûts de développement dans l'ingénierie au Canada et assurer un alignement transnational, en harmonisant les pratiques avec la haute direction et les spécialistes;
  
• Orchestrer l'alignement essentiel entre les équipes locales et internationales, en veillant à ce que les effectifs internes et externes soient optimisés conformément aux stratégies d'ingénierie;
  
• Agir en tant que représentant de l'ingénierie transversale, en facilitant des canaux de communication rationalisés et autonomes entre les organisations Programme, Fabrication, Approvisionnement, Service et Ingénieur en chef pour améliorer l'efficacité des activités de développement multidisciplinaires;
  
• Challenger l'organisation et les méthodes en place pour pousser le développement continu et optimiser le développement;
  
• Influencer l'équipe de direction pour soutenir les meilleures prises de décision.
  

Votre profil :

• Diplôme en ingénierie aéronautique ou dans une discipline connexe;
  
• Au moins 15 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans un rôle de développement de produit;
  
• Capacité de réflexion stratégique et d'organisation du travail démontrée;
  
• Capacité à rassembler une équipe autour d'une mission commune;
  
• Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite;
  
• Maturité émotionnelle et capacité à nouer des relations à tous les niveaux;
  
• Intégrité absolue et discrétion dans le traitement des informations confidentielles.

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Engineering Business Specialist to join our Engineering team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

You will be part of the Transverse Engineering team, responsible for driving performance improvement, skills development, and the function's innovative and ambitious projects. The team organization is structured to promote autonomous cross-collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.

Your role as Development Leader will be to lead the implementation of the product development process and structuration of development engineering teams for new developments and to drive the engineering cost planning practice in collaboration with the Engineering function's leadership team, transnationally, to achieve strategic objectives while optimizing the effort associated with these activities across the entire engineering department.

Your challenges:

• Lead the deployment and rigorous application of the Product Development Process (PDP) for major developments within Airbus Canada engineering, proactively synchronizing local engineering processes with Airbus global standards to ensure a unified and consistent engineering framework in a high-stakes transnational development environment;
  
• Define and drive the engineering development baseline by ensuring integrated planning and costs, ensuring that all project assumptions and work scopes are documented, validated, and aligned with program objectives. Establish the synthesis and communication of these baselines to transnational engineering leadership and formulate recommendations for decision-making to executives from both engineering and program;
  
• Establish and drive a standardized development costing framework in engineering in Canada and ensure transnational alignment by harmonizing practices with senior management and specialists;
  
• Orchestrate essential alignment between local and international teams, ensuring that internal and external workforces are optimized in accordance with engineering strategies;
  
• Act as a representative of transverse engineering, facilitating streamlined and autonomous communication channels between the Program, Manufacturing, Procurement, Service, and Chief Engineer organizations to improve the efficiency of multidisciplinary development activities;
  
• Challenge the existing organization and methods to push for continuous development and optimize development;
  
• Influence the management team to support the best decision-making.
  

Your profile:

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline;
  
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in a product development role;
  
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and work organization skills;
  
• Ability to rally a team around a common mission;
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  
• Emotional maturity and ability to build relationships at all levels;
  
• Absolute integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
