Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Lead Supply Officer (m/f) to join our Supply Chain & Quality Department for the A220 based in Toulouse, France (St Eloi Plant).
Be a part of a high-impact project team! This is a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the critical industrial transfer of the A220 engine pylon manufacturing to St Eloi plan in France. You will be a key member of the Supply Chain Operations for Engine Pylons team, driving the supply of detailed parts, material, standard/specified items in a complex, multicultural environment.
Your mission is to manage supplier relationships and the procurement of materials, ensuring the on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery of parts to our assembly lines.
🎯 Your Challenges
The responsibilities for this role are focused on operational excellence, international coordination, and proactive performance management.
1. Procurement & Order Management
- Place and manage Purchase Orders (POs) according to the Purchase Request on behalf of the commodity.
- Manage inventory and order management communicated to our suppliers.
- Actively manage material flows to ensure outsourced and purchased products meet targets.
2. Operational Performance Leadership
- Lead the first-level response for corrective and preventive actions when delivery targets are at risk.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage short, medium, and long-term operational action plans (e.g., catching up on deadlines, improving logistics flows).
- Ensure daily monitoring and reporting of supply chain performances.
3. Stakeholder & International Management
- Manage the relationship with international suppliers on all operational aspects: order book, reception, invoicing disputes, etc.
- Navigate and coordinate across a complex international network, including - not limited - US suppliers, Canadian customers, and European production teams.
- Ensure strong internal coordination by acting as an interface across all involved departments within the project team.
- Develop cross-functional team working to drive alignment.
4. Change Leadership
- Understand the human aspect of change to effectively support teams in implementing new ways of working and processes required for the transfer.
🥇 As the Lead Supply Officer, you will also:
- Coordinate the overall team activity.
- Act as the 1st level of escalation for the A220 Pylon supply chain issues.
- Serve as the primary advisor for portfolio parameters.

Your Boarding Pass (Required Skills)
- You are fluent in English (proficient in speaking, reading, and writing).
- You are a proactive self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills, a dynamic team player who wants to perform in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- You are comfortable with IT and office tools, particularly the Google Suite.
- You have previous experience working with an ERP system (SAP) and an appetite to try new software and ways of working.
