Number of positions : 1

Required Experience : 6 to 9 years

>Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer (f/m) to join our Information Management team based in Bangalore, India.

As DevSecOps engineer, you will work on the integration of the security tools inside the devops toolchain. The aim is to reduce the complexity, simplify user experience and provide API.

The platform will be used by several thousands of users worldwide.

The platform is hosted on AWS. You will be working in full agile within the DevSecOps team.

Your Role

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and integrating the security tooling inside the CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with the development and operations to ensure the smooth builds and releases of Airbus applications.

Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to; CI/CD Pipeline Development, Configuration Management, Build and Release Management and Infrastructure and Environment Management.

This role will involve some travel for business from time to time and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Your Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Work in a small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary team responsible for product development
  • Design and develop solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements at scale for business needs.
  • Involvement in the full delivery lifecycle - responsible for designing, implementing, testing, documenting, supporting and operating libraries & frameworks.
  • Implementing test automation covering multiple test aspects, like unit testing, functional testing, security testing, load and performance testing.
  • Developing using CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of IT assets across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production
  • Packaging, maintaining and deploying development tooling
  • Publishing and maintaining high quality technical documentation such as guideline documents and standards
  • Provide L3 support to teams who are using our product.
  • Propose improvements of the platform and service through features and automation based on his/her experience and the feedback he/she gets from users
  • This role will involve working in CET and IST time zone as per project requirements


Qualifications

Must have

  • Strong understanding of software development, design concepts and principles
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining applications at scale
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Route 53, ALB, and cost optimization.
  • Experience with Cloud platform AWS is required.
  • Strong knowledge in DevOps tools and platforms such as Ansible,Docker
    Git,SCM,Jenkins,Artifactory,SonarQube,Splunk,Jira and Confluence .
  • Experience with DevOps automation tools like AWS CDK,Terraform and Jenkins CI/CD .
  • Experience in developing reusable deployment scripts and automation frameworks using Python and Groovy for Jenkins shared libraries.
  • Delivering high quality with security, documentation, and FinOps compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of systems and DevSecOps tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues in the DevSecOps domain and implement proactive solutions.
  • Experience in Linux scripting and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles , including vulnerability management etc.,
  • Proven track record working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects
  • Good communication Skills and experience in customer interactions
  • Experience in international work environment
  • User oriented mindset
  • Problem solving skills
