Junior Finance Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. As a member of our team, you will gain hands-on experience in various financial functions, including accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. You will assist team members in day-to-day tasks and have the opportunity to learn about financial systems, budgeting, and forecasting.

As part of your role and responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable/receivable tasks.
  
• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  
• Support the team in managing budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations.
  
• Help in tracking expenses and maintaining financial records.
  
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.
  
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  
• Participate in audits and internal controls processes.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and insights.
  

Additional Responsibilities:

• Comply with safety policies and procedures
  
• Comply with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Supply Chain policies and procedures
  
• Performs variety of tasks and projects as necessary from the Leadership team
  

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

• Finance / Accounting degree or experience in administrative accounting tasks
  
• Implement and document process improvements
  
• Familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
  
• Proficiency in Google Sheets; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Organizational and time management skills
  
• Service-oriented & collaborative approach
  
• Ability to prioritize issues and to efficiently troubleshoot problems
  
• Effective Communication skills, both oral and written
  
• Language: English - fluent
