We are looking for an Intern Artificial Intelligence Engineer to become part of Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

The position is a great start for a career in a multinational company. You will be part of a diverse and skilled team that will require your support with regard to data structuring, analysis, labelling and general data preprocessing. You will be working max 4 hours per day, flexible program.

The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge in the domains of Artificial Intelligence and software development.

Responsibilities:

• Support the team in charge of designing and developing various algorithms and features to solve specific problems addressed by on-going projects
  
• Offer support in data handling, analysis, pre-processing and labelling
  
• Test various machine learning systems implemented for the on-going projects
  

Requirements:

Competencies:

• Knowledge on data science and artificial intelligence
  
• Image processing tools
  
• Overall knowledge on software development principles
  
• Well organized person, pays attention to details by default
  
• Understanding of engineering logic and topics
  
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  
• Eager to learn things outside of her/ his area of competence
  
• Willing to go outside her/ his comfort zone
  
• Fluent in English both speaking and writing
  
• Team player
  
• Goal-oriented
  

Nice to have

• Experience with Python
  
• Knowledge/ Experience in Computer Vision / NLP
  
• Experience with image analysis and processing
