Industrial Design Intern - Product Design Cabin. Hamburg (d/f/m)

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As an intern you will help craft upstream, people centric design concepts that seamlessly blend a consistent aesthetic approach with robust functionality and performance.

As such:

  • You will help identifying game-changing trends and technologies and translate them into innovative cabin concepts.
  • Bring innovative people centric concepts to life using state-of-the-art 2D and 3D visualization techniques, transforming abstract ideas into tangible design solutions that push the boundaries of air travel.
  • Create compelling narratives and visuals that showcase your innovative designs to key decision-makers, generating eye-catching presentations that captivate stakeholders and bring your visionary concepts to life
  • Champion designs that prioritize comfort, environmental responsibility and inclusivity. While advocating a user centric approach to ensure the harmonious balance between innovation, sustainability and commercial viability.


Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Industrial Design, Product Development or an equivalent field of study.
  • You show strong visualisation and presentation skills, ideally in both 2D and 3D.
  • Bring your motivation, boundless imagination and “sky’s the limit” attitude to every challenge.
  • Knowledge of CAD modelling and visualisation.
  • English fluent skills; German and French language skills would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrate your communication prowess in our diverse and international team. Be ready to pitch ideas and be part of a team that transcends cultural boundaries
