Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a IFCS Development Assurance process focal point (m/f) for the Design Office within Airbus in Toulouse.

As part of a transversal team, you will oversee V&V activities and define deployment strategies for Flight Control Systems across all Airbus programs.

We are evolving our design approach through extensive use of Model Based Design and Product Line strategies.

Your mission will be to ensure that design and V&V methods are robust and ready for the IFCS program and future certification challenges. Working closely with V&V leaders, you will "deep dive" into the Flight Control Computer lifecycle, from early-stage design to final certification.

Your challenges:

  • Define and refine development assurance processes for the IFCS program, ensuring alignment with ARP4754 and DO178C/DO331 standards.
  • Lead the creation of critical certification documentation, including Software Aspects of Certification and System V&V plans.
  • Proactively identify process non-conformities and lead corrective actions to maintain high quality standards.
  • Contribute to program reviews and EASA meetings, ensuring regular alignment with stakeholders and quality teams.
  • Define qualification strategies for design tools to ensure they meet international aviation requirements.

Your boarding pass:

  • Proven experience in V&V processes, methods, and configuration management.
  • Deep understanding of aeronautical standards: ARP4754, DO178B/C, DO330, DO331.
  • Knowledge of System Design and Development (RBE, MBE, MBSE) and Airbus DE.SO processes.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools (DOORS) and formal specification tools (SAO, SCADE).
  • Familiarity with development and change management tools (GIT, JIRA, XRAY, Jenkins).
  • English: Negotiation level.
