Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Ice Protection Method and Tools Designer (M/F) to join Communication & Sensing Systems Department based in Toulouse, France.

Wing and Nacelle Ice Protection Systems (IPS) are key to ensure A/C safety and performance. Developing and maintaining in service existing systems requires an understanding on the system performance thanks to understanding of the Ice physics, thermal analysis and use of adapted performance tools. In addition, IPS for future programmes will face new challenges (certification, new technologies like electrical power source instead of bleed power source, ...) that are significantly impacting both the methods used to develop IPS as well as the associated tools.

Your challenges :

• You will be involved in IPS system design activities to support aircraft programmes evolutions or participate in future technologies maturation.
  
• Identify, perform or support the team in the projects aiming at improving our knowledge of icing conditions or in our methods to develop IPS.
  
• Control evolutions of existing methods and tools used on IPS: manage evolution of existing tools, integrate new tools and propose improvement for current methods.
  

Your boarding pass :

• Scientific computation and modelization skills
  
• Degree in mechanical/aeronautical engineering
  
• Basic knowledge Fluid dynamics, thermal, thermodynamic engineering
  
• Project Management basics
  
• You are dynamic, positive, curious, passionate and creative.
