Job Title: Sr Group Manager: HO IIDIO

Role Overview: Senior Product & Service Line Leader (India)

1. Strategic Resource Management & Workforce Effectiveness

  • Accountability: Direct oversight of ~60 Headcount (HC) based in India, serving as the primary lead for their professional development and output quality. This includes mentoring Product managers, product owners, architects and service delivery teams.
  • Strategic Alignment: Define and execute resource management strategies that ensure the workforce is optimally deployed against global business priorities.
  • Efficiency: Implement frameworks to monitor utilization rates, ensuring that the India-based team delivers maximum value and remains agile in response to shifting PSL (Product Service Line) demands.

2. PSL Operational Ownership & Global Partnership

  • Product Management : Stay accountable for Product managemen t based on PSL strategy on global products to be managed from India
  • Joint Governance: Partner directly with the Global PSL Leader to co-own operational outcomes, bridging the gap between global strategy and local execution.
  • Operational Excellence: Standardize workflows and KPIs within the India team to ensure consistency with global PSL benchmarks.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate localized operational risks that could impact global delivery schedules or service quality.

3. Contractual Governance & Compliance

  • Local Contract Ownership: Serve as the primary authority for all local PSL contracts in India, including vendor management, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and third-party partnerships.
  • Compliance & Legal: Ensure all contractual engagements align with Indian labor laws, corporate governance standards, and the organization’s global procurement policies.
  • Cost Management: Optimize local contract spend to drive bottom-line efficiency without compromising on service delivery.

4. Ecosystem Leadership (IID/IIDI Initiatives)

  • Organizational Influence: Contribute as a Senior Stakeholder to India India Digital (IID/IIDI) initiatives, helping shape the future of the organization's footprint in the region.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive initiatives that enhance the India site’s value proposition, such as talent branding, innovation hubs, or shared services optimization.
  • Culture & Mentorship: Act as a cultural steward for the India office, fostering a high-performance environment that attracts and retains top-tier engineering or operational talent.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

To measure the effectiveness of this role, you might consider the following indicators:

  • Utilization Rate: Maintaining high productivity across the 60 HC.
  • Operational Parity: Consistency in delivery quality between India and global PSL hubs.
  • Contractual Efficiency: Cost savings or risk reduction achieved through proactive contract management.
  • IID Impact: Successful delivery of regional strategic projects
