Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Hardware Methods Manager (m/f) to join our Electronics Product Team based in Toulouse, France.
Avionics and Simulation organization is an in-house avionics equipment and simulators supplier. Engineers in this domain are responsible for the design, the development, the production and the support of critical embedded products (e.g. Flight Controls, Flight Warning, Communication, Maintenance equipment) for all Airbus aircraft.
You will be integrated into the team in charge of definition and updates of methods and certification used by all our teams, covering end to end activities.

Your challenges :
1- Support the definition of processes & methods for design and/or manufacturing avionics products :
- Ensuring the application in processes and methods of electronic certification requirement, (DO254 / ED80, CRIx-IMx), standard requirements (EN9100 / ISO9001) and AIRBUS directives (ABD0100)
- Providing training to users of processes and method
- Defining and Guaranteing deployment of Engineering Requirements into Electronic Boards and Equipment Development
2- Support to teams from mock-up to certification of a product :
- Supporting the Hardware Project Leader and Design Teams in; breaking down the referential into the Hardware Development Plan; in carrying out Validation and Verification activities, and in managing configuration aspects.
- Participating in the development / upgrade of the Plan for Material Aspects of Certification with the support of the Electronic Design Certification expert
- Participating in the development / updating of the final certification document
3- Benchmark and providing ideas for simplifications of processes & methods
Your boarding pass :
- Educated to a 5 years degree (or equivalent) in Engineering (Knowledge in Electronics is a plus)
- Methods experience in aeronautical systems/ equipments on critical equipment (DO 254 / DAL A ...)
- Strong communication skills (interface with all types of stakeholders)
- Solving problems skills
- Solution oriented
- Negotiation level of French and English
