General Procurement (GP) is looking for a new colleague in China.
Fully integrated in the Procurement organisation, GP China’s mission is to procure goods and services on behalf of the business entities in China, and as such to play a major role in generating value and contributing to the overall competitiveness of the company.
GP China is part of the Airbus GP organisation which employs more than 600 professionals on around 40 sites in Europe as well as in the Middle East, India, Singapore, the US and China.
Within GP China, as a SCQM, you are a key player in the GP community, working in close collaboration with our buyers and the respective Multi-Functional / Divisional Teams (MFT/MDT).

Accountability
In this role, you will:
- implement & monitor the procurement strategy defined by the Commodity and the Multi-functional Team (MFT) for the projects you will be in charge of.
- be accountable to implement state of the art and compliant processes, tools and methods (including Approval, Couple Compliance of service/products and Surveillance, ..) to ensure Airbus GP Production Organization Approval (POA + DOA) obligations on suppliers’ Aircraft related services/products quality and conformity delivery to protect Airbus and Airbus Group business continuity.
- be responsible that all suppliers in your transnational scope are approved, qualified and controlled in accordance with GP Control Supplier process and procedures (M20193 and M20690) to ensure compliance of GP with Airbus Production Organization Manual (POM).
- be accountable to represent GP for Airbus POA maintenance in front of the Aviation Regulations (EASA) for your local scope (where necessary) as representative of GP.
- in the framework of the GP Airbus Group directorate, report to the Head of GP China and functionally link with the Head of Supply Chain & Quality for Industrial assets and products and be accountable for all supply chain quality activities related to Supply Chain and Quality Management (SCQM).
- be accountable to guarantee the full cradle to grave performance management of all strategic, risky and/or critical suppliers in your scope, which includes but is not limited to supplier risk management, participation in the selection of strategic suppliers with the MFT (by providing Supply Chain Management criteria/ranking for the selection report with assessment of shortlisted suppliers and the implementation of Supplier Performances monitoring (OTD/OQD), Supplier Development (SQIP) and CID missions (Correct/Improve/Develop)
Main Activities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Supplier Control
Manage and perform all activities for Supplier Approval, Couple Compliance & Surveillance in scope:
- Supplier Control Reviews, supplier approval and Couple Compliance declaration
- Product/service in the frame of Supplier Couple Compliance and/or recovery actions
- Follow up on all standard Airbus tools in accordance with GP and Airbus policy, processes and procedures including but not limited to M20556 / M20193 / M20690 / A2135...
- All related supplier quality data recording up to date
- Interface with Aviation Regulations, gap analysis & action plans follow-up
- Maintenance of updated Supplier lists entering in AIRBUS POA scope (to be done in relationships with local stakeholders : buyers and internal requesters)
- Verify that the Quality Assurance Plan continuously meets Airbus requirements
- Perform and support process audit at Supplier Site for Couple Compliance purpose as per Airbus process and manual, such as M20193 and M20690
- Support Supplier Approval, Couple Compliance & Surveillance locally for other POA/DOA scope than the one you are responsible for as "Involved Quality People” role defined in Airbus process and manual, such as M2589
- Support EASA audits performed in China
- Ensure local quality & buyer activities impacting SCQM are communicated efficiently in order to define & action any relevant activities arising from “local” decisions, issues, activities, or international commodities contracted in local area
- Support Supplier CID (Correct Improve and Develop) missions or interface them with the organization in charge of Improvement Activities at Suppliers as a result of conducting scheduled Supplier Control Reviews, in line with GP strategy
- Manage defined periodic reviews or exceptional ones with Airbus organizations (Procurement - Manufacturing, Plants and Programs) and relevant stakeholders (e.g. Internal Customers & local or international Aviation Regulations) to review Supplier Quality Assurance and Compliance to Airbus business requirements (including external referential e.g. EN9100...)
QUALIFICATION
As the successful candidate, you are supposed to:
- Have Bachelor degree in business, procurement or supply chain
- Have Quality and/or Lean Management experience
- Have experience working in MNC and 5 to 8 years of experience in procurement
- Speak, write and read both English and Chinese fluently
- Justify a good knowledge of IT tools and data analytics, such as google suites, SAP, etc.
- Be self motivated and able to proactively engage in complex projects
- Be a good facilitator, a good listener, and customer-oriented person
- Be recognized for your leadership and excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to motivate and influence multi-functional teams
