Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Asset and Scrap Manager (m/f) to join our FHS (Flight Hour Services) departmen t based in Toulouse (France).
You will join the Airbus FHS team, a service provider for airlines that delivers spare parts, as well as engineering and maintenance services to its customers worldwide. The team is in charge of guaranteeing on-time delivery and driving the financial performance related to spare parts purchasing and operational expenditures resulting from backorder costs.

Your challenges:
- Drive the availability of parts in your portfolio (divided by supplier) to maximize service levels while minimizing inventory costs (investments, worldwide stock balancing, surplus management).
- Drive the financial performance of scrap: build cost forecasts (AOP/FCx), monitor budget deviations, and lead the bi-monthly "Scrap Forum" with management and finance teams.
- Manage life cycle and decommissioning: arbitrate the scrapping of unusable parts to optimize storage capacity, automate scrapping processes, and explore innovative recycling solutions.
- Model repair forecasts: develop and improve the reliability of failure and repair forecasting models in collaboration with Repair Managers, providing clear visibility to maintenance suppliers.
- Coordinate transverse flows: act as the Inventory focal point to prioritize urgent repair orders (minimum stock alerts), drive "Repair vs. Replace" arbitration, and optimize dynamic replenishment efficiency.
Your boarding pass:
- Background in Supply Chain, with at least 5 years of experience in inventory management, ideally in the aeronautics industry.
- Advanced expertise in data analytics and an excellent understanding of financial stakes related to Supply Chain, allowing you to manage complex topics.
- Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills, you are agile, capable of working with short deadlines, and adapting to a dynamic environment.
- Languages: An advanced level of English is mandatory (daily use in an international context).
