Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Control Laws Designer (f/m) to join our Flight Control Laws department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing manual and automatic flight control laws. As part of the Flight Control Laws team, you will be involved in designing systems that directly impact the overall behavior and performance of the aircraft, aiming to create a unique link between end-user needs and the design integrated into the flight computers.

Your challenges:
- Take responsibility for flight control laws, from preliminary design through to certification.
- Deliver detailed specifications using formal specification tools to ensure the quality and performance of your integrated design.
- Validate your design through desktop flight simulators and specific simulations.
- Present and justify your design, while supporting flight test engineers and pilots during flights and simulator sessions.
- Monitor in-service events reported by customer support or pilots to actively contribute to continuing airworthiness activities.
Your boarding pass:
- Significant experience in control theory, flight physics, and dynamics applied to engineering systems.
- Proficiency in control simulation tools such as Matlab and Simulink.
- Excellent ability to interact with multiple stakeholders from different domains, functions, and countries.
- Team spirit and strong autonomy, with a keen eye for detail while maintaining a global perspective.
- Negotiation level in English required.
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
