Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Experienced Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Stress Engineer (f/m) to join our Aircraft Fuselage Structures Engineering Analysis team based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing A320 aircraft family front and central structural modifications. As part of the Structure Fuselage Engineering Team you will contribute to improve our A320 family aircraft, and you will support their production simplification in order to better answer to our customer needs.

Your challenges:

• Analysis, justification and certification of all structures SA continuous improvement projects. In this frame, you will be technically in charge to define the F&DT potentials of our structure, propose some design updates
• Ensure the safe operation of Airbus aircraft with respect to structural integrity,
• Perform and provide technical guidance for structure stress,
• Provide technical leadership and authorization for structure stress in order to
produce optimized engineering solutions,
• Ensure knowledge, best practice and lessons learnt are captured and
deployed
• Steer activities in terms of Cost, Time & Quality,
• Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders,
• Provide support to our internal customers
• Develop Team ability to put in place collaborative Way of Working and
ensure mutual assistance between team Members
• Prepare the Future fostering Improvements & Innovation within the team

Your boarding pass:

• Team player
• Educated to an Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• F&DT stress experience (>5 years)
• Good level of knowledge of Airbus Calculation methods & tools (ISAMI would be aplus)
• Ability to organize, structure your daily work in the team and MFT projects and
manage multiple tasks in parallel
• Autonomous approach with a good ability to react and adapt
• Good communications and presentations skills
• Leadership skills, pro-activity and energy to anticipate and support changes
• Ability to work in an international and interdisciplinary environment
• French: advanced level
• English: advanced level
