Job Description:

The jobholder will perform SW development of CUC-T Remote Control System and Ground Control System.
He will interface with other colleagues in AHE with the following roles: Junior SW Developer, Senior SW Developer, Mission Systems Expert and Mission Systems HO.
Additionally, he will be integrated in AH group routines related to this development and will work with them as part of the group.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Participate and contribute to CUC-T programs periodical routines as part of the team.
  • Develop SW of the functions assigned to him taking as basis an SRS or equivalent input.
  • Prepare, follow and sign SW Documentation related to the activity.
  • Contribute to SW integration and verification of his and others (peer’s) SW.
  • Contribute to Raising, Analysis, and Fixing of raised SW PRs.
  • Support input (SW Specification) and output activities (SW Integration and Validation)
  • Contribute to SW Configuration activities.
  • Contribute to SW Reviews up his responsibility level.
  • Contribute to all SW Quality related activities.

This role may involve some travel for business to Germany and France; as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with Container Technologies,e.g. Docker, Proxmox
  • Knowledge and experience in the whole Software Development Cycle is required (Requirements, Design, Implementation, Validation & Verification)
  • Knowledge and experience with Software Verification (unit testing, SW/SW integration testing, SW/HW integration testing, black box testing, non-regression testing) is beneficial
  • Knowledge on C++, Python languages
  • Installation and administration of Linux operative systems.
  • Knowledge of the graphic libraries
  • Knowledge of network protocols (Ethernet, ARP, IP, UDP/TCP)
  • Knowledge of communication buses (A429, RS422, MIL-STD-1553, AFDX)
  • Knowledge of technologies (MQTT, DDS, HDLC)
  • Knowledge of SW design patters
  • Knowledge of Agile methods (SCRUM, KANBAN)
