Technical Skills

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

Essential skills

• Strong experience of Thermal simulation.
  
• Understanding of aero-thermal environments and systems affecting the temperature of aircraft components.
  
• Profound Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, Aerodynamics, and Cooling Systems understanding.
  
• Strong Hands-on Experience in numerical modelling, 1D analysis (Amesim) and CFD (Star CCM+, FLUENT) methods and tools.
  
• Experience in coding of numerical methods to solve heat transfer and fluid flow problems.
  
• Ability to learn new tools and processes to ensure the project deliveries.
  
• Ability to build the understanding of thermal management systems of various aircrafts to build Amesim models is essential.
  
• Ability to work in collaboration with a team to ensure the quality of the deliverable is must, as the project deliveries may directly contribute towards the certification of the aircraft.
  

Desired skills

• Knowledge of Python and JAVA would also be beneficial.
  
• Broad understanding/knowledge of System Design processes.
  
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with other areas of the organisation.
