This position is part of our Sustainability Unit, which aims to empower businesses to build a sustainable future.
Task description
- Preparation, support, and follow-up for internal and external energy audits (e.g., ISO 50001)
- Developing, tracking, and monitoring Significant Energy Usage (SEU) performance
- Maintaining and updating energy management documentation and action plans
- Energy data reporting, including maintaining the energy report and management tool
- Close collaboration and exchange with internal departments on energy topics
- Organizing and supporting energy team meetings (preparation and follow-up)
- Providing support for the preparation of management reviews
- Creation of required documentation and presentation of work results
Required qualification
The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable courses of study and related subject-specific additional qualifications or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification. The total required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways.
Required competences and skills
- Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
- Working experience as an Energy Management Consultant or a similar role
- Knowledge of energy management standards and methodologies (ISO 50001, DIN EN 17463)
- Experience with Google-Suite, e!Sankey, eSight, SAP, Skywise (Palantir Foundry), and/or Qlik
- Familiarity with project management methodologies like Waterfall, LBIP, or Agile
- Strong technical, analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong reliability and precise working methods
- Committed, proactive and team-orientated way of thinking and working
- A skilful, confident manner and strong improvisation, organisational and communication skills
- Business fluent in German and very good written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
Location
