SUMMARY

The Documentation Management Project Leader customizes and delivers the flight operations documents (FCOM, MEL, QRH, CCOM, WBM, AFM, etc.) for aircraft operators.

Responsibilities

This position will be mainly responsible for the duties related to the flight operations documentation management service activities to include, but not limited to:

  • Customize flight operations manuals (FCOM, MEL, QRH, CCOM, WBM, AFM, etc.) in line with the service agreements
  • Manage impact of fleet changes, aircraft changes (Service Bulletin embodiment, STC)
  • Provide engineering expertise to customize the flight operations manuals, and to support the customers in line with their local Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements
  • Customize, update and deliver the Flysmart+ loads for Ops Library Browser
  • Deliver the updated package based on the revision cycles
  • Propose improvements for checklists and guidelines for documentation management service
  • Daily customer communication management (tickets, onboarding, meetings)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Professional Skills

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in flight operations engineering domain, specifically in:
    • Flight operations manuals - Airbus XML schema
    • Basic knowledge of aircraft systems (MEL customization)
    • Flight OPS regulatory requirements (EASA, FAA, local CAA)
    • Basic knowledge of Flight OPS manual revision workflow
  • Safety and quality mindset
  • Be detail-oriented with self-validation mindset
  • Good ability to handle and complete the different tasks within the same timeframe with multiple deadlines
  • Good ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities
  • Good ability to organize, manage and plan the production delivery on hand with teams
  • Be team-orientated and willing to participate in collaborative environment
  • Fast learner with good ability to learn new things
  • Be able to work autonomously and without supervision
  • Advanced level of English
  • Software experience:
    • Experience with Airbus XML authoring tools (ADOC, FODM, Mission+ DOC Manager)
    • Excellent computer literacy skills
  • Professional experience:
    • Familiarity with aviation regulations, standards and best practices
    • Experience in Flight Operations engineering fields for Airbus aircraft
    • Experience in Project Management
